MISSING PIECE (EPILOGUE)
All he had lost and those that were frozen, was given back to him. Armstrong started work with Listrem Construction Company and after a while, he moved his family to a bigger house he had built and changed his children’s school to one of the best in the country.
He opened another fashion house for Jacinta and got a bigger place for her food business(she couldn’t stop because her customers begged her not to). She was shuttling between both businesses and had more than enough hands to support her.
To show his appreciation to Pastor Kalu, he bought a Jeep for him and continued the church projects that had stopped because of no finance. His growth with God was tremendous. No matter how busy he was, he made sure there was time for God. This made his boss and colleagues respect him even more. In no time, he was promoted as the Sales Manager in charge of America.
What can I do to thank You enough, God?, he thought when he saw the promotion letter.
*********
Wondering what happened to Friday? He went to America, and he married a divorcee. He got the green passport like he wanted.  But one day, his American wife caught him sleeping with her eldest daughter on their matrimonial bed. In her rage, she shot him with her rifle on the chest. Before they got to the hospital, he bled to death.

“Leave me alone. Don’t touch me. I don’t want. Kabiru, leave me alone”, she shouted, shaking vigorously.
“That’s her, Mama. She’s always shouting. Please, who is Kabiru and Suliat?”, the doctor asked. “They are her dead husband and child”, the old woman replied.
The doctor shrugged. “Her strange behaviour is why she’s been chained hands and feet to the bed. She almost strangled someone to death last week. You have just ten minutes with her”, the man said and left.
Ahh! Arike! Arike! See your life, look at what you’ve done to yourself. After all my warnings, you kept telling me that I was old school. Ahh! Arike ti pa mi (Arike has killed me)”, Arike’s mother lamented crying.
“Maami, help me. Tell Kabiru and Suliat to leave me alone. Look at them, they are coming to get me. I don’t want to go…….Leave me alone. They want me to drink blood……no, no, no”, she kept ranting on.
The wicked will never go unpunished. Vengeance is of the LORD.
THE END.
Thank you for staying till the end.
