DAILY WRITING (3)

 TUESDAY 19TH OCTOBER, 2021

As I write, the time is currently 4:36pm. It’s a public holiday today so I didn’t mstep out of the house. It’s a Muslim celebration. Don’t know which one but we are home……hoooooray!

I can categorically say I did everything I planned to do today; eat, sleep, wake up, see movies, sleep and keep repeating the cycle till the end of the day. 

I honestly do not feel like writing anything but I intend to because I gave my word, first, to myself and second, to whoever is reading this.

Someone dear to me introduced the squid game to me…..after stalling, I’ve finally seen it. The whole season 1. I guess it’s safe to say I’ll be writing about movies.

Squid game is nice, really worth the suspense and all but I don’t get the over hype. I feel it was over hyped. A number of people might attack me but hey, it’s my review, isn’t it? I was stalling to see the movie for two main reasons:

1. It was on Netflix and this babe ain’t ready to do a Netflix subscription to see one yet.

2. It is a season movie and truth is, I hate waiting for another season to come out. So most of the time, I prefer to see a season movie when they are either done with it or they’ve gone reaaaaally far. That waiting thing just gets me tired.

Another set of series I think I am enjoying are “Sweet Tooth” and “His Dark Materials” (which I just started).

So, all in all, I am doing well, abi?
