CRAZY DRIVERS IN NIGERIA

Good evening ooo. How are you doing today? That’s how I almost forgot today’s writeup. But my God is greater. I will do this.

So, I’m typing this now at exactly 9pm today.

I am typing in front of the TV currently tuned to CNN. They are showing one guy’s documentary who travels the world seeing places and showing us. That’s what he does for a living. This is actually one of my dream jobs; to either do this and get paid or just do it for the fun of it. Just going about, visiting new places, meeting people, trying new food (veeeeery important as the foodie that I am) etc. I loooooove it.

Another dream job for me is talking on radio as a radio presenter. Not really a TV presenter fan. I only began to like the ideas of making videos last year. I thought working out audios are tough. Mehnnnn…..videos are harder. If you’re a content creator, shout out to you ooo. E nor easy ooo. If you think it is, do am naaaa.

Have you ever come across crazy drivers? Well, if you live in Nigeria, especially in Lagos, you’d probably see them on a daily basis. The ones that will almost hit you right where you’re standing and still tell you rudely, “You nor dey see road?”

That’s how I was standing jejely on my own, waiting to cross. A bus swerved from the road because he wanted to overtake a car in front of him. Thank God I jumped back fast, that bus for hit me gbas gbos.

What did the driver say? “Werey! You nor dey see road abi?”

And I called him ‘werey’ back too.

Sometimes, you really do not know when you’ll just answer them back, honestly.

I told you about a man that came out of the car that wanted to slap me because he almost hit someone walking beside me and I called him out, abi? If you’ve not heard that story, don’t dull yourself. Go and listen here (https://anchor.fm/temitope-adeoye/episodes/Episode-10-HE-WANTED-TO-SLAP-ME-eu2chu)

Today, the bus I entered on my way back, I was legit praying that I got to my junction in peace. The driver almost hit a bike man carrying another passenger. We know those okada people can be something else but abeg, I don’t have energy to be judging matter to a group of people or inside police station when the matter happened. We were all yelling at him to take it easy before he reduced his speed. Ahhh…..you wan kill person ni?

I got home in peace and not in pieces ooo…..help me shout hallelujah.

I would have told you more stories about these people and their crazy driving but I’m hungry. My can is not able again biko

Share your experience with a crazy bus or car driver or okada rider in the comments section below. Thank you.
