DAILY WRITING (8)

And that’s how I forgot to paste Sunday’s write up. I guess it’s because there was really nothing much to write about. But still, I will post it.

SUNDAY 24TH NOVEMBER, 2021

As tired as I was last night (Saturday), I still woke up around 5am. More like I did because I felt my cousin tap me. I woke up and saw she was still sleeping beside me. So, why did I wake up bayi? I asked myself. It wasn’t like that was the first time her body would touch me anyway. It is well ooo.

I tried getting up from the bed and it seemed like an impossible task. I had to use the rest room and it seemed like I wasn’t going to make it on time. It was like my body had eventually given up. I’ve not felt that kind of pain and numbness at the same time.

I finally made it to the toilet…….. literally dragging my right feet which suddenly became too heavy to walk with.

I came back, jumped into the bed and zoomed off to Dreamland again.

My big sis (cousin) woke me up some minutes to nine as she was about leaving the house, “Tope, it’s almost nine ooo. Won’t you go to church?”

I stirred and replied weakly, “I’ll go for second service.”

“When is second service?”

“10am,” I replied.

I was surprised she didn’t say anything after that and left.

Thank God!

As she slammed the door, I tried to get up. I was in pains. Going to church in the mud, I thought. I quickly went online to join service there. Thank God network went well today.

I forced myself out of bed after service to get what to eat. After eating, I slept…..again.

One of my cousins returned. I greeted her…….and slept again. 

When Aunty Nike (my big cousin) returned and I woke up still feeling weak, tired and with body pains, I knew sleep was not the solution.

I looked for what to eat again because I was still feeling pains. 

“I knew you would not go to church today. What happened?” Aunty Nike asked.

“Nothing. I was just tired,” I replied.

The day literally dragged by. I kept going to the bed to lie down.

And I saw some movies too. I finished the season 1 of Resident Alien. Now, I’m waiting for Season 2. That’s why I don’t like seeing new series; the idea of waiting is annoying.

I got up much later to prepare what to wear for work tomorrow (Monday).

That’s basically all I did today.
