Hello and welcome to the month of March. I hope it brings you all your heart’s desires.

If there’s one thing that used to terrify me, it was organizing events or hosting anything. But this time, I crossed that fear off my list.
In my last post, I mentioned the ChatGPT class I was organizing. Well, on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, it finally happened! 72 people registered, but on the day of the class, about 10 to 15 participants showed up live.

Leading up to the class, I was super anxious. I even had to close registration at some point because every email notification of a new signup made my heart race. The more people registered, the more nervous I became. But despite the fear, the anxiety, and the nerves, I did it anyway.
And I’m so glad I did!
The class went well, and everything I had worried about turned out just fine. Deep down, I know I’m a great teacher, but whenever I step into something unfamiliar, my nerves try to take over. The good thing? I never let them win.
I’m incredibly grateful for this experience. Huge thanks to my amazing guest speakers, Tosin and Elsie, who shared their expertise and made the class even more valuable. And the feedback I’ve been receiving? It just confirms that this was worth it.

Now, as we step into March, I want to remind you:
Do it afraid!
Yes, you might be scared to try something new. Maybe you’ve heard stories of people failing at the exact thing you want to do. Maybe the fear of failing is holding you back. But let me encourage you—do it anyway.
This year, I told myself I’d rather try and fail than look back with regrets. And I think that should be your mindset too. Because when you try and fail, you’ve simply learned one way it didn’t work. The next time, you won’t be starting from scratch; you’ll be starting from experience. And that makes all the difference.
So, tell me, what are you going to do AFARID this month? Share with me in the comments.
