“Broda mi, how far with the investigation?”, Olumide asked. He was the younger brother of Mr Alao and had come to pay him a visit in his office. He was taller than his elder brother and broad chested which he liked to display at every given time. He wore a blue round t-shirt on a pair of jean trouser. The strong jaw lines on his squared face looked like that of his brother’s. A scar sat deep just below his left eye. He told anyone that cared to ask him that he was the victim of an unfortunate incident in school.
“Not much progress. We still don’t know who Armstrong works for. The new accountant is also a suspect because money still keeps missing”, Mr Alao lamented.
“The police should be fast nau. These people want to drown these company. They are destroyers.”
“Indeed, they are. Each staff are being questioned and their movements monitored. I will not rest until I bring them to book, Armstrong included”, Mr Alao said, looking away for no particular reason. “So, what brings you here?”, he asked after a while.
“Ahh! That’s true. I need money”, Olumide replied.
“I thought as much. Olumide, it’s only when you need money you remember the way to my office”, Mr Alao accused. “Well, for now, I have nothing to give. What did you do with the money I gave you the other time? You told me it was for an investment. I didn’t see the plans or anything.”
“Haba! Anyway, the business…..ot didn’t go as planned. It went down.”
“Olorun iyanu! (Wonderful God!)”, his elder brother exclaimed, hands on his head. “Two million naira went down? It’s now very clear that you are a waster. I have been helping you all these while because you are my brother. Not anymore. You won’t get anything from me again until I see something tangible. You think you are still a child? I won’t take that from you. Wake up, Olumide. I have nothing to give you!”
“But……”
“This discussion is over! When you are done, take your leave”, he said, facing the laptop in front of him while trying as much as possible to curtail his anger. Olumide kept grumbling.

“You don’t know how grateful I am, sir. Only God in His infinite mercies will reward you for me”, Armstrong said, appreciating the pastor.
“All glory to God. It’s so glad to see you back again, serious with God’s work than ever before. I’m sire God wanted to awaken you to certain things that’s why He sent you an angel in that vision”, Pastor Kalu said.
“I’m sure of that, too”, Armstrong agrees, “I’m so glad He gave me another chance.”
The pastor nodded. “Be sure not to misuse it this time.”
“I won’t. I have to go now. We have an evangelism outreach”, Armstrong said, standing.
“Okay. Thanks for visiting. God bless you.”
“Amen.”
